Next Track Entertainment is a registered business name of Next Track Events, LLC, based in Winterville, NC and working from the coast to the Triangle.
Who we are
We're more than a DJ company.
That line is on our logo, and it is meant literally. The DJ is the visible part of what we do. Underneath it sits the sound system sized to your venue, the lighting design, the ceremony microphones nobody notices, the monogram on the wall and the timeline holding all of it together.
We have been doing this in Eastern North Carolina for more than 19 years. In that time the team has worked over 1,000 weddings and events between us — enough that very little surprises us, and enough that we can usually tell you what is about to go wrong before it does.
Every client who has reviewed us has rated us five stars, and 100% said they would recommend us. We would rather earn the next one than talk about that record, but it is the clearest evidence we have that the approach works.
How we work
Four things we do differently.
Our DJs are part of our team — not random subcontractors
Every DJ who represents Next Track Entertainment is personally vetted by us, trained to our standards, and works directly with our team. We know their abilities, professionalism, and how they perform at an event before we ever put them in front of one of our clients. If we aren’t confident putting the Next Track name behind a DJ, they don’t represent Next Track. Period.
Staffed for the event — not just the booth
Whenever the event calls for it, our lead DJs work alongside an assistant so one person isn’t trying to manage the music, coordinate the timeline, interact with guests, and troubleshoot equipment all at once. Most of our weddings and larger events are staffed with a two-person team, while smaller events are staffed according to their needs.
Preparation over improvisation
The reason our events run smoothly is not talent on the night. It is the planning meeting, the name pronunciations, the sound check, and arriving early enough that nothing is being solved in front of guests.
Straight answers on money
We quote your actual event rather than sell you a package, and we say plainly what a thing costs when you ask. Bundles cost less than the same items bought individually, and we will tell you when that applies rather than letting you overpay for the same result.
The team
We match your style to the DJ who's right for your event.
High-energy host or quiet professional — we pair you with the person whose style fits what you are picturing, and we tell you who that is.
That match matters more than most couples expect. A DJ who reads a room well but talks too much will wreck a quiet reception, and a DJ who stays invisible will flatten a loud one. We would rather spend the time getting the pairing right than hand you whoever is free.
